We offer outstanding short-term mobility placements for VET learners lasting for 2-4 weeks that provide unique opportunities for young people to complement their vocational courses by gaining work experience abroad.
We offer VET mobilities across a broad range of sectors including : • Engineering• construction• Digital Media• Sports & Leisure• Travel & Tourism• Creative Industries• Ecology & Conservation• Catering and Hospitality• Community, Charity & Social Enterprise This is not an exhaustive list so if there is another arts, media, creativity or culture topic that your Adult Education learners would be interested in, please just ask! Erasmus+ mobilities are a fantastic way for VET learners to enhance their CV, develop and improve language skills and boost career opportunities. Our local staff team provides dedicated bilingual guidance and support and will organise all aspects of mobility placements, including introductory meetings with employers at the start of placements, regular monitoring of progress and end of placement reviews to provide references and upgrade CVs. Our staff team are fully training in Information, Advice and Guidance (IAG) safeguarding of young people, enabling to provide personalised pastoral care and support for every individual learner. All learners have access to 24-hour staff support in case of emergencies. We also make sure that VET learners are enjoy the social and cultural elements of their Erasmus+ mobility and provide cultural activities to explore and learn about the region, regular updates about local events and weekly ‘intercambio’ language exchanges where learners can practice their language skills with local students.
